Ok, so this is the 'About Us' page. This is just a little page explaining what Peer Support means, how we were set up and what we do. (Just general bits of info you may find interesting really!)
Who are your Peer Supporters?
Who exactly are your Peer Supporters? Since you need reminding, here's a quick slideshow, but check out 'The Team' page for a better guide.If you need to speak to a Peer Supporter at any time, but it's a day when we don't have a place for you to drop in to chat to us, feel free to look for us out in the corridor. We should have badges or tags to show we are Peer Supporters, so feel free to come and ask for a private chat or whatever, that's what we're here to do.
What is Peer Support?
The Peer Support system is a group of people who are there for students to talk to. Other schools do have Peer Support systems (which may be under different titles), but not many do. This means you are very lucky and should take advantage of this system, if needed.Peer Support in Queens' is exactly what it says. Our slogan is 'Here To Listen.' We help you by listening to you. You can talk about anything you want with us, and we will be totally non-judgemental.
